Metro wants to feature urban charity successes

Metro newspapers is inviting charities and groups working in urban areas to get in touch with a view to them featuring their work.
An advert in yesterday’s Metro newspaper in London said:
“Here at Metro, we like to celebrate the work of groups and charities that make a difference in our towns and cities. If you represent one of these groups, we’d like to hear your story – drop us an email telling us how you’re helping at ur*********@uk*****.uk.”
In the same advert, Metro invited creatives and creative agencies to volunteer their services to help create advertisements for businesses that have been affected by the recent rioting in some of England’s cities. Enquiries should be sent to be***********@uk*****.uk.
Since charities and social enterprises were amongst those affected by these events, they might be amongst those to benefit from this volunteering.
