UNICEF UK’s new My Fundraising site, launched on 1 April 2011, has generated over £60,000 in its first eight weeks.
The site, designed and developed by digital agency Chameleon, allows individuals to create their own fundraising profile pages, which include up to six images, details of their specific fundraising event, target and progress. The pages are integrated with Twitter and Facebook enabling fundraisers to share their event with their personal networks.
“In the eight weeks since its launch, My Fundraising has raised £60,000 for UNICEF UK, so we’re absolutely delighted with Chameleon’s work’ said Ruth Foss-Smith, Fundraising Initiatives Officer at UNICEF UK. “In addition to the funds the website will generate, the insight we’ll gain from its supporter data will be invaluable in informing future fundraising activity”.
Chameleon has developed a number of digital initiatives for UNICEF UK over the last 10 years.
