Alive and Giving

Fundraising and comparison website AliveandGiving.com is giving away £10,000 of free advertising to 20 charities via online dating site Smooch.com, which should give them exposure to up to 500,000 people this month alone.
To be in with a chance of winning this prize, charities need to register on AliveandGiving.com and then simply e-mail their adverts to in**@al************.com for selection. Potential donors will be directed to the charities’ profile page on AliveandGiving.com, where they can donate and learn more about the charity.
There is no charge for charities to sign-up to AliveandGiving.com and there are no subscription fees: the company charges 5% for donations that it processes. Once charities have created a profile page they can upload video, pictures and text content.
AliveandGiving.com’s founder Chester Mojay-Sinclare said: “We launched the website a few months ago now and it has been in Beta for while. We’re all really excited to be offering this opportunity to worthwhile charities and hope that we can help make a difference”.
The closing date for entries will be the 28 February 2011. The chosen charities will be selected by a panel of judges and advertised during March or April.
