Wootton George Consulting to plant tree for every new client

Strategy and fundraising consultancy Wootton George Consulting is aiming to become carbon neutral in 2011. To support this goal, the company will be planting a tree for every new client contract won during the year.
The agency has had an environmental policy for some years, covering activities like choosing rail travel over driving wherever practical, buying recycled office products, and reusing and recycling materials where possible.
The new tree planting scheme now seeks to offset the carbon impact of the business. Trees will be .
Simon George, Director of Wootton George Consulting, said: ”We have been making efforts for some time to reduce our environmental footprint and this tree planting scheme is a great way of helping to neutralise our carbon impact, while helping a community in Ghana and thanking our clients for their business. It won’t save the planet but it takes us a bit closer to sustainability.”
