Getting started with Bluesky for charities

CAF builds network of regional managers across the UK

The Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) has appointed the first of three regional and country development managers to build relationships with charities, companies and donors. The network is designed to increase charitable funds by promoting tax-effective giving and CAF’s banking and fundraising services.
The development managers will work within local communities in the Heart of England, North of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
John Low, Chief Executive of the Charities Aid Foundation said: “We want to build upon our strong presence in the South East of England to encourage and help more individual donors and companies to give tax-effectively in ways that suit them and to help charity money go further with our banking and fundraising services.”
The first role will be filled by John Shah who joins CAF on 28 June as Development Manager for the Heart of England and Wales. He joins CAF from W.A.I.T.S (Women Acting in Todays Society) a women’s aid charity based in Birmingham, and has had over six years experience in the charitable sector, in fundraising, business development and project management roles.
Two other roles are being created; one based in the North of England and another based in Scotland that will also cover Northern Ireland.
