NICVA is organising a ‘Meet the Funders’ event in January to kick start fundraising for 2010.
As in 2009, when NICVA ran a similar event in Belfast and Derry, the Meet the Funders event provides an opportunity to visit the funders table of your choice to gather information and ask a question or two directly to the funder themselves.
The event on 25 January 2010 at NICVA has had confirmation that the following organisations plan to take part.
· Santander Foundation
· Arts Council Northern Ireland
· BBC Children in Need Appeal
· Big Lottery Fund
· Charity Bank
· Comic Relief
· Community Development & Health Network Northern Ireland
· Community Foundation for Northern Ireland
· Community Relations Council
· Co-operation Ireland
· Heritage Lottery Fund (Northern Ireland)
· Learning & Skills Development Agency NI
· Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland
· Nationwide Foundation
· NICVA Grant Tracker
· NIE (Viridian)
· Sport Northern Ireland
· Ulster Community Investment Trust
· Unity Trust Bank plc
· UnLtd
· Voluntary Service Bureau
· Youthnet
NICVA will also have a number of other organisations available for consultation, including Marsh Insurance, Gauge, NICVA Governance, NICVA Membership Information and the Institute of Fundraising. Other organisations may confirm in the coming weeks.
This event will run from 4.00pm to 6.00pm on Monday, 25 January 2010 and people attending should register in advance. The event will take place in NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast BT15 2GB.
If the event is fully booked NICVA will place names on a reserve list for invitation to a subsequent event.
Registration is open to NICVA members first. From 11th January 2010 non-NICVA members can register, subject to places being available. Groups who wish to apply for NICVA membership at the same time as registering for the event can also do so before 11th January 2010.
