Media Trust offers twenty £500 awards for inspiring digital media

Media Trust is offering 20 awards of £500 between now and the end of March 2010 to organisations using digital media to help empower disadvantaged communities. That is one award every week.
Selected projects will receive a bursary for a place at one of Media Trust’s training events, together with other communications support.
Media Trust’s Development Director, Gavin Sheppard, said: “We know that there is a wealth of great digital media work already going on in the community, and these awards will help to highlight that excellence, and inspire new communities to find their voice and make it heard”.
