Yellow Moon raises £2.9m in eight years

Howard Lake | 9 September 2009 | News

The Yellow Moon catalogue, which features products to entertain and develop children, has now raised more than £2.9 million for over 20,000 schools since its launch in 2001.

The catalogue, available in printed and online forms, is used by Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) and similar groups to raise funds.Every time someone makes a purchase, they nominate their school to receive cash-back on their order. Products generate between 5% and 25% in cash-back.

The school is also placed in a biannual free prize draw. A recent winner was Beverley Minster CE Primary School in East Yorkshire. It will spend the £1,000 prize on an outbuilding in which the PTFA will store fundraising items for events such as summer fairs.
