Teresa Nightingale, the Head of Fundraising for World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK), has been promoted to become the charity’s General Manager.

She has been with the charity, which focuses on the links between lifestyle and cancer, since 2001 and was promoted at the beginning of June.

She was initially hired as a fundraising programmes manager, following several promotions she was appointed Head of Fundraising in 2007. This saw her overseeing programmes such as direct mail, committed giving, legacies, trusts and challenge events.
