Together Trust boosts fundraising team

The North West’s oldest and largest children’s charity has given its fundraising department a boost by adding two new members to the team.
Due to the ongoing need to raise funds, Together Trust has brought on board Victoria Goring as a community fundraising and events officer, and Helen Chin as fundraising assistant.
Victoria’s role will include the promotion, organisation and management of fundraising events within the community. Victoria, from Cheadle, recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University, will focus on a number of projects including the Manchester Velodrome Abseil, Cheadle Festival and the Great North Swim.
Helen, from Marple in Stockport, knew a career in the charity sector was for her after working at the Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society for young disabled people. As part of her role at the Together Trust, Helen will provide the fundraising department with administrative support and coordinate the charity’s running teams for the Great Manchester Run and the Great North Run.
Philippa Hartley, fundraising manager at the Together Trust said: “The new additions to the team will provide much needed support to the department. Within the current economic climate it is more important than ever to continue to develop new initiatives to raise funds.”
