PFRA appoints Nick Henry to new post

Howard Lake | 9 April 2009 | News

Nick Henry has been appointed to the new post of quality and compliance officer at the PFRA.
This new role will be to supervise, maintain and expand all aspects of the associations ‘quality control’ functions, including its national mystery shopping programme, the accreditation scheme, training and activity ‘spot checks’, complaints handling, from both public and local authority partners, and professional development of fundraisers including raising training standards and co-ordinating emerging best practice.
Chief executive of the PFRA Mick Aldridge said this role had been created as part of a planned growth in operations and staff that reflects the increasing role the PFRA is playing in brokering access and promoting F2F in general.
Henry is currently London and SE regional manager for Concern’s in-house street fundraising teams. He has almost 10 years experience of F2F charity fundraising. He starts his new job on 20 April.
