PDSA launches stock appeal for its shops

Howard Lake | 12 March 2009 | News

Veterinary charity PDSA has launched an urgent appeal for donations of items for its chain of 178 charity shops.
While demand for its vet services increased by 10% last year, and is expected to grow further this year, donations of stock which can be sold by its charity shops have not kept pace.
“Without more donations to our shops we may struggle to help deliver the increasing demand for vet services”, said PDSA’s Director of Business Services, Andrew Holl.
Other charity shops have also launched urgent stock appeals, such as those run by Cancer Research UK.
