British Heart Foundation chooses Occam for data consolidation

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) has appointed Occam to help it consolidate, convert and cleanse five databases holding over 2.5 million supporter records.
Occam will take feeds from the five separate databases and design a suitable mechanism for storing the data in a common, standardised format. In addition, Occam will provide data feeds into a new CRM system, OneCRM, and maintain ongoing data integrity between this and the current systems, as well as the conversion database.
Frank Garofalo, CRM Programme Director at the BHF said: “This is a complex task – until now, our databases have been sizeable but uncoordinated. With Occam’s help, we can bring them together, and ensure our supporter marketing is more targeted, less wasteful and more effective than ever to increase our customer service ability”.
