Online raffles site Rogavi.com has been rated four out of five stars in the Best New Websites category by popular web magazine Webuser.

According to Webuser: "Rogavi is a fundraising website that uses the time-honoured method of raffles to make money for charity. There are lots of impressive prizes on offer, from vintage Minis and signed books to gadgets such as iPods and digital cameras. Ticket prices range from a few quid to upwards of £10 and there’s no limit to how many you can purchase in any one draw.

"Each raffle has details of the number of tickets remaining as well as information about the benefiting charity. Rogavi is simple to navigate and buying tickets is easy so, if you are feeling lucky, this is a good way of helping out needy causes."

Richard McBriar, co-founder of Rogavi, said: "It’s great to see Rogavi grow, from first last year in the Institute of Fundraising Innovation Zone to now being recognised by Webuser. We can’t get better than that!

The site lets users see how many people have bought tickets on a prize, and as soon as the fundraising target or draw date is reached the winner is determined.

McBriar added: "Companies that donate prizes not only have the satisfaction of knowing they are helping charity, but the high levels of traffic also help raise their profile. Prizes are even tax deductible!"
