New online printing service drives value for charities
A new online digital printing service which features low-volume professional quality at a fraction of the price of conventional print is proving to be a significant cost saver for charities. FilePrint enables users to design, upload and order short print runs economically from their desktop, with pre-noon orders delivered next day.
A number of charities are already benefiting from the FilePrint service. One example is the St Clement & St James Community Project based in West London and its sister charity IntoUniversity.
Over the last few months, the charity has ordered a variety of flyers, brochures and newsletters from FilePrint to support its activities. According to staff member Catherine Black: “We often need small runs of material to be printed at very short notice for visits to schools and colleges. With limited budgets, we don’t want to waste money on expensive print. FilePrint has proved to be extremely cost effective for us, with no compromise on quality compared to conventional printers. It’s easy to use, efficient, our print always arrives within a couple of days, and it has saved us considerable expense.”

FilePrint users simply upload a PDF created in-house and order the required quantity online. Alternatively, customers without PDF software can download a free printer driver which enables them to print from any Microsoft document directly from their desktop. FilePrint also offers a range of pre-formatted templates and professional binding, folding or trimming options, to create professional documents such as posters, greetings cards and canvases. There is no minimum order, and orders are normally delivered within two working days, regardless of UK location.
The FilePrint service can be accessed through its website on www.fileprint.org. FilePrint offers a full range of paper qualities and print sizes up to A0 oversize and can cost-effectively print from a single copy with no set-up charge. Any type of document can be produced, including fundraising stationery, events material, greeting cards, posters and sponsorship forms. A choice of delivery services is offered, covering all of the UK.
