The Charity Awards 2009 open for entry

The Charity Awards 2009 are now open for entry. Sponsored by CAF and the Leadership Trust, the awards are now in their 10th year. They aim to recognise exceptional performance in the leadership and management of charities.
There are 10 categories in the awards, which are hosted by Plaza Publishing:
* Animals and the environment
* Arts, culture and heritage
* Children and youth
* Disability
* Education and training
* Grantmaking
* Healthcare and medical research
* International aid and development
* Research, advice and support
* Social care and welfare
There is no charge to UK charities to enter the awards, and the closing date is 9 March 2009. Winners will be announced at a gala dinner in London on 11 June 2009.
