Olivia Cosgrove is founder and CEO of Cashtrail, which provides NGOs with financial software integrated with mapping tool Google Earth that helps them in budgeting, recording expenditure and preparing donor reports.
The software is written with non-financial managers in mind, but “caters for complex multilayered operations with several donors and across a range of periods”.
The tool uses Google Earth to enable donors to find a project, explore it, see its costs, and then donate to it. Cashtrail tracks these donations and provdies feedback to the donors, helping them see and track the impact of their donations.
Cosgrove was a delegate at this year’s International Fundraising Congress where UK Fundraising’s Howard Lake interviewed her.
