Fifth round of VCashpoint is now open

The fifth funding round of vcashpoint has opened. The £1 million joint HSBC and v sponsored funding initiative in England offers up to £2,500 to 16-25 year olds with “innovative ideas for projects that both benefit the community in some way, and create volunteering opportunities.”
Launched in February 2007, vcashpoint has already made grants of £325,000 to 398 projects across England. These projects ranging from break-dancing classes to clothes-making sessions.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on 26 January 2009.
