Arts & Business Scotland Awards 2008 winners announced

The winners of the Arts & Business Scotland Awards 2008 have been announced.
The Awards celebrate the most outstanding and creative partnerships between businesses and arts organisations in Scotland. Forty-four partnerships were short listed across nine categories.
The winning partnerships were announced at a ceremony hosted by broadcaster Janice Forsyth in the Music Hall, Aberdeen. They are:
* Bank of Scotland and Aye! Write Bank of Scotland Book Festival
* Whyte & Mackay (Jura Malt Whisky) and Scottish Book Trust
* Scottish Widows and Arts@Work
* Talisman Energy (UK) and St Magnus Festival
* Bank of Scotland and Edinburgh Festival Fringe
* Henzteeth and National Library of Scotland
* Orkney Auction Mart and The Pier Arts Centre
