Applications for GlaxoSmithKline IMPACT Awards open

Applications for the GlaxoSmithKline IMPACT Awards, now in their 12th year, are open. The awards are designed to recognise and reward charities that are doing excellent work to improve people’s health. They are funded by GlaxoSmithKline and managed in partnership with The King’s Fund.
To be eligible entrants must be registered charities that are at least three years old, working in a health-related field in the UK, and have a total annual income of between £10,000 and £1 million.
The overall winner of the 2009 Awards will receive £35,000, with nine other winners receiving £25,000 and up to ten organisations that are highly commended or runners up receiving £5,000 or £3,000.
The winners can choose how to use the award money.
The deadline for applications is 17.00 on 26 September 2008.
