The Innovation in Participatory Learning awards are offering a total of up to $1.8 million for projects that enable and enhance innovative participatory learning. They are open to organisations in 13 countries, including the UK.
The selected projects will demonstrate “new modes of participatory learning in a variety of environments, by creating new digital tools, modifying existing ones, or using digital media in some other novel way”.
The awards are primarily intended for “large-scale projects that will typically involve teams of collaborators”.
Grants will range from $30,000 to $250,000 with grants being made in June 2009.
Applications must be received by 15 October 2008.
