iT4Communities volunteers pass £3 million point

The 5,300 volunteers for iT4Communities (iT4C) have now donated £3 million worth of their professional skills to charities and voluntary organisations.

Launched in 2002, iT4C is a programme of the Information Technologists’ Company and encourages companies and individuals with professional IT skills to volunteer these skills for the benefit of the community.

IT4C now delivers over £660,000 in volunteer time annually, creating around 50 volunteer opportunities each month and working with 2,300 charities across the UK.
