Lloyds TSB staff have voted the British Heart Foundation (BHF) as their Charity of the Year 2008-2010. The bank will aim to raise £2 million through staff and customer fundraising over the next two years: if successful, that would make it the biggest single contribution to the BHF from a corporate supporter to date.
This is the first time Lloyds TSB has entered into a two year charity fundraising relationship.
During the partnership staff and customers of Lloyds TSB, including Cheltenham & Gloucester and Scottish Widows will be encouraged to pledge to take part in various fundraising events, initiatives and activities. Staff have access to a dedicated website for the partnership featuring fundraising advice, materials and ideas for getting involved.
