Its a revelation when Marty Mcfly finds his mother in 1955 smoking and drinking. They didnt do that, did they?
Back to the Future, the time travelling 1985 film is not just a hollywood blockbuster that spans genres. It is, for many a way to imagine our past, present and future. We are often products of our own time, reinventing what was before, believing that we are first and taking credit for being inspired by our cleverness. In some ways the demise of history at school is partly to blame for our very narrow perspective.
So, it is with great joy that our legacy fundraising is shaping up to be inspired by the past. After an absence since my last post (its a long story) we are rediscovering a way to create new energy in legacies using simple, tried and tested ways that the past tells us works. If your strategy gets stuck sometimes, hop in your de lorean and take a quick trip.
They didnt do that, did they?
