HFT, the national charity for people with learning disabilities, has received a £140,000 donation from the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund (RAFBF).
Over 100 of HFT’s 1,000 service users are related to members of the RAF and the RAFBF has supported the charity for over 20 years.
Air Commodore Mike Barter, director welfare at the RAFBF, presented the cheque to HFT chairman, Richard Barber, following an awards ceremony which was hosted by television star Griff Rhys Jones, who is a patron of the charity.
