A new guide to philanthropy in Ireland, ‘Philanthropy – an opportunity to make your mark’ has been published by Philanthropy Ireland. The free publication is designed to encourage and facilitate major giving in Ireland.
The guide provides an overview of Irish philanthropy in and includes:
— A four step “framework for philanthropic giving”, providing an overview of the options for philanthropic giving;
— Profiles of Ireland’s leading philanthropic organisations;
— An explanation of the legal issues affecting philanthropy;
— Guidance on tax matters;
— An overview of current trends in philanthropic giving.
