In the run up to Christmas, IKEA stores around the world will be donating the equivalent of 1 euro to be shared equally by UNICEF and Save the Children,
for every soft toy sold.

IKEA’s Soft Toy Campaign runs from 3 November to 24 December. Toys sold in the retailer’s 237 stores worldwide and 15 stores in the UK will benefit the education work of UNICEF and Save the Children in nine countries including Albania, Bangladesh, Russia, and Vietnam.

The soft toys included in the promotion range in price from 49p to £12.99. The donation of £1 in UK stores will be given for every soft toy bought, irrespective of the purchase price or how many are bought in one transaction. For example, if a customer buys six soft toys at 49p, IKEA will donate £6. The goal for the UK element of the campaign is £275,000.
