Children's charities unite to fundraise

Howard Lake | 31 October 2007 | News

Four children’s charities in Ireland have come together to increase their fundraising capacity. It is thought ‘United for Children’ will use their collective clout to make approaches to the business sector.

The four charities are Angels Quest, To Russia with Love, Baby Max Wings of Love Fund and Jack & Jill Foundation.
United for Children will promote education, well being, dignity, health and happiness for children suffering from mental, emotional or physical disability in Ireland and Russia.

The charities will function as separate entities for service delivery but will unite for some fundraising activities, especially for approaches to the business community. They have set up a specific website, www.unitedforchildren.ie, to market the partnership.
