Sharing successful grant applications

Wouldn’t it be helpful to see an actual example of a trust application that was successful? Now you can, courtesy of Open Source Community. Here you can search for, find and download examples of successful grant applications to organisations ranging from the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, to the European Regional Development Fund Obj 2 Priority 3, WREN Landfill Tax Credits, and Rank Foundation.
According to those who shared them via the site, the applications generated grants such as £100,000, £50,000, £250,00 and £2,500.
The site was established by a partnership of five grassroots organisations “trying to make a difference in a deprived area of Hull” by sharing “practice in a practical way”.
It is a very good example of community and charity staff sharing valuable experience with a wider audience. Grant applications, once they have secured the grant, can still have a use, as teaching aids.
Now, why didn’t UK Fundraising offer this kind of resource ages ago?
