Online magazine subscription site raises £8,000 in a month

Magazine subscription website iSUBSCRiBE.co.uk has raised £8,000 in one month for the cancer charity the Royal Marsden Hospital by donating £1 for each new magazine subscription taken out during June 2007.
In addition to the funds raised through subscriptions and donations, iSUBSCRiBE sponsored the Hospital’s Annual Summer Fair and provided additional subscription vouchers for the raffle. With iSUBSCRiBE’s support the Summer Fair raised £70,000 for the campaign.
iSUBSCRiBE.co.uk enables people to subscribe to around 1,500 business and consumer magazines, newspapers and brochures. It says that around 60% of all subscriptions on the site are purchases as a gift for someone else. At Christmas this rises to 90%.
