New forum to support middle managers

Howard Lake | 9 August 2007 | News

Charity middle managers feel more stressed and less appreciated than any other charity staff according to the Charity Pulse staff satisfaction survey published by Birdsong Charity Consulting and Third Sector.

In response to these findings, which revealed that only 58 per cent of middle managers felt appreciated, Birdsong has launched the Middle Management Forum, starting in September.

The Forum will meet for half a day, five times a year in London with a maximum of 12 participants. It will be run by Birdsong co-founder Sam Attenborough and provide ongoing support and development opportunities for middle managers and will cover topics such as developing your own authority, building effective teams, managing in busy and stressful situations, and managing your boss.
