Barnardo's use cinema advertising for first time
This summer children’s charity Barnardo’s will be advertising in cinemas for the first time. The 71-second advert is part of the charity’s ‘Believe in Children’ campaign.
The ad features a young boy, using a series of expletives to talk about his experiences of family life, foster care and social workers, explaining how Barnardo’s has stuck by him while others have given up. The ad will be shown before a number of ’15’ and ’18’ certificate films in cinemas throughout the South East, using a ‘bleeped’ version for younger viewers and an unedited version for 18 films.
