Institute launches tax-effective giving website

The Institute of Fundraising last week launched an interactive tax-effective giving website and a CD-Rom for charities.

The website contains more than 50 useful downloads and template materials that charities can use to promote tax-effecctive giving methods to their donors. These include details of how the change in the basic rate level of income tax will affect Gift Aid and payroll giving donations from April 2008; a Gift Aid calculator; relevant codes of practice, template articles, letters and press releases, and promotional tips.

These new resources are part of the institute’s wider tax-effective giving programme offering support services to charities across England, funded by the Active Communities Directorate.
