John Grain offers 50 fundraising ideas

Following John Grain Associates’ “50 Ideas in 60 Minutes” session at this week’s Institute of Fundraising National Convention, the company has published a website to share these tips.

John Grain believes that this is the first time a website has been developed specifically to support a Convention seminar and he intends to add new ideas to it over the coming months.

Grain said: “This was a different type of session at the Convention – it was not a ‘how to’, more an ‘up to you’. Every one of these ideas is freely available for anyone to implement, adapt or build on as they wish. If someone uses just one of them to improve their fundraising then we are delighted.”

Richard Turner added: “They are a mix of big, visionary, risky ideas that have the ‘what if’ element, of practical ideas that we have seen and loved and which could quickly make a big difference to many charities, and small quirky ideas that anyone should be able to implement to help their fundraising activities.”
