CharitySoftware rebrands as Donor Strategy

CharitySoftware Limited has rebranded itself with its lead product name, Donor Strategy, the customer relationship management (CRM), fundraising and alumni database solution, designed for the not-for-profit community.

The rebrand includes a new colourful logo, representing CRM at the centre, surrounded by spokes indicating the different modules available to clients to extend the product.

Louise Hamilton, Marketing and Communications Manager, explained: “We feel it captures the essence of who we are as a company and where we are going. Fresh, bright, warm and innovative are consistent comments from clients.”

Jonathan Air, Managing Director, added: “Clients are central to our organisation, so our new branding aims to reflect that we are a people-focused and professional supplier to the sector. The icon also illustrates that we offer a flexible, modular product that is easy to use.”

The new branding was revealed at the Royal Society last week to sector media, consultants and partners. The celebration was marked with a tower of cakes embellished with the new icon that will be the new desktop shortcut for users of the database.

The new branding coincides with a release of a new version of Donor Strategy. New or improved features include in-line editing, view by table or map, pull in other data into the user dashboard, improved customised filtering for search, calculated columns, an extended relationship tree view (with photos of people if you have them), intelligent paragraphs (for customising letter content based on specified criteria), easy communications logging (whether a user is updating via web, phone or Blackberry), record subscription (generates an alert every time an event or person’s record is updated), improved paperless Direct Debit, new pledge management, and improved linking with websites via Web Connect module.

The company now has 175 active clients, and more than 600 concurrent users, based in both the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The upgrade to version 4 is available to existing clients at no charge. MD Jonathan Air commented that, once backups had been made, the upgrade process should take between five and 30 minutes depending on the number of records held.
