Rehab Lotteries stop using Tradedoubler affinity marketing

Howard Lake | 6 June 2007 | News

Rehab Lotteries are to stop using the TradeDoubler affinity marketing network to “focus media spend in other areas”. The program will close on the 5 July 2007.
Rehab Lotteries and Bingo, formerly GeLotto, is run by the Rehab Group, a not-for-profit organisation which provides training, employment, social care and commercial services for about 60,000 people each year in Ireland and the UK.
It has used the pay per click opportunities of TradeDoubler since 2005 to generate new users, launching its Bingo product in February 2006. At that time it was offering affiliates between £4 and £8 for each new account their website could generate for them. They also ran time-limited promotions offering bonuses of up to £135 for generating 50 new accounts.
Oxfam Unwrapped, World Vision, and ActionAid are just some of the charities that have used TradeDoubler.
