Over 100,000 women took part in Race for Life’s One Big Day event on Sunday 3rd June at 24 events across the UK, raising over £8.5 million for Cancer Research UK. Race for Life is the biggest women-only fundraising event series in the UK.

Following its success in 2006, Race for Life again hosted "One Big Day", on Sunday 3rd June 2007, with 24 Race for Life events taking place at 16 different venues across the UK on the same day. The charity is expecting to raise over £8.5 million on this day alone to help beat cancer by bringing together more than 110,000 women.
