Quarriers launches first appeal south of the border
Scottish charity Quarriers is about to launch its first appeal in England with Bath FM radio station.
The campaign, developed by Burnett Works, is targeted to raise £20,000 for a sensory garden for children with learning disabilities at the Quarriers Beaumonds residential short-break home in Bath. Bath FM has chosen Quarriers as its first charity of the year and will be running an on-air auction, a summer event and a Hallowe’en ball.
Quarriers has been running projects in Bath for around three years as part of its development plan to expand its services, but this is the first time it has launched an appeal specific to services outside Scotland.
