The Meningitis Research Foundation has appointed the Bristol office of PKF Accountants and business advisers to handle the charity’s audit and tax compliance work as well as signing off donations collected by volunteers in town centres.

The Thornbury, Bristol-based charity has 42 part-time and full-time staff across its four offices in the UK and Ireland.

The foundation chose to appoint PFK in the face of increasing requirements for professional advice and the need to meet high standards of governance, accountability and transparency.
