England 1966 footballer launches Essex hospice legacy campaign

Martin Peters MBE, part of the World Cup winning England team of 1966, is supporting St Clare Hospice launch its new legacy campaign.

The legacy campaign at the hospice in Hastingwood, Essex, is called “Willing to Share – Willing to Care”, and launches this month.

Martin Peters said: “I decided to lend my support to St Clare Hospice after a recent visit. I was so impressed at the level of care and support to the patients and their families that I felt I would like to help in some way.

“St Clare Hospice is a warm and welcoming place and everyone who works there do a fantastic job and if I could lend a hand in helping them promote the Hospice such as their New Legacy Programme, I will.”
