Charity Technology Trust (CTT) has extended its ‘CP Terminal’ card payment processing service for charities to their retail shops. CTT, the charity that promotes efficiency in charities through technology, is offering a rental free payment solution for charities.

The service has been developed in partnership with Alphyra , Europe’s largest independent payment network provider and owner of Payzone„¢.

The service provides a free CHIP and PIN-enabled terminal for each charity retail outlet to process all credit and debit card transactions using an existing phone line. The service includes free installation, training and support and integration with CTT’s CP Terminal reporting system.

CTT says that the service is designed to offer a solution to the many charities that are faced with high set up costs and rental costs for card payment terminals but who don’t want to risk losing revenue by not being able to offer this facility to customers.
