The Here to Help awards, run by Save the Children and funded by British Gas are open for the fourth round of grants.
The awards ‘inspire young people to make their local area a better place to live’ and will benefit homes and communities across the UK.
There are £1,000 and £3,000 awards that young people can apply for to improve something in their local community.
A successful applicant in round three was the Amington Peeps which wanted to bring together young people from different areas of Tamworth in an activity where there was a common interest. The Here to Help award was used to organise an inter-area football competition.
The closing date for round four is 23 March and projects must be within Great Britain and must not be political, sexist or racist.
