Institute announces one-day conference on corporate fundraising

The next event in the Institute of Fundraising’s series of one-day conferences will focus on corporate fundraising. It will be held on 26 April 2007 at the Cavendish Conference Centre, London W1.

The Institute has confirmed that its Corporate Fundraising conference will now be an annual event, taking place each April.

This year’s event will feature an opening plenary from the Association of Children’s Hospices and Somerfield Stores Ltd on their Charity of the Year partnership.

A corporate fundraising surgery will enable delegates to have their legal or sponsorship questions answered.

The event will feature presentations from organisations including Macmillan Cancer Support, The Prince’s Trust, Cause and Effect, Bates Wells and Braithwaite, Business in the Community, and the Birmingham Foundation.

Institute of Fundraising members will pay £165 to attend, while non-members at charities will be charged £215 and commercial organisations’ staff £265.
