Ireland Funds reviewing grant giving

Howard Lake | 9 January 2007 | News

The Ireland Funds will not be accepting applications at the end of January as it has done for a number of years. The Fund says it is ‘restructuring’ its grant giving and will not be considering applications until this review is complete.

The Ireland Funds previously accepted grant applications in Ireland at the end of January each year, with money distributed in June. The areas of giving — culture, community development, education and community relations — have remained constant for over 20 years.

The Funds has grown its income base with a major gift campaign, ‘Hope and History,’ over the last five years that has raised $111 million.
