Free marketing, design and PR on offer to five charities

Howard Lake | 15 December 2006 | News

CBA Design and Marketing is offering five charities the opportunity to benefit from a free marketing, design and public relations consultation in the New Year.

The free session will help UK charities evaluate the effectiveness of their current marketing strategy, look at how to improve their presence in the marketplace and consider design and PR issues and requirements.

To enter, charities need to e-mail Michael Fegan or telephone him on 01223 845550. The first five charities to respond will qualify for the free consultation.

The offer has been made following the agency’s recent commitment to pledge £1,500 to help promote Caring Matters Now, a charity that supports individuals who suffer from Congenital Melanocytic Naevi (CMN).

The support involved designing and producing a range of marketing materials to help Caring Matters Now raise money for scientific research into the causes and treatments of CMN.

Lucy Hardwidge from Caring Matters Now said: “Good marketing literature is essential to promoting our charity and funding our research so we are pleased they have chosen to assist us in this way. Like many charities, we are working with a limited marketing and PR budget, so this pledge was invaluable”.

CBA Design and Marketing was established in 1991 and is based in Stapleford in Cambridge.

NB. Update 20/12/2006: the first five places have now been taken so no further applications are invited. CBA had an “overwhelming response” as a result of this story on UK Fundraising. The company is still happy to hear from charities who would like to discuss their marketing needs.
