Shelter and DGM Affiliates part company

Howard Lake | 10 November 2006 | Blogs

Online affiliate marketing company DGM Affiliates reports that it “has taken the decision to resign the England Shelter account,” asking its affiliate website owners to take down any Shelter links with immediate effect, or at least “by the end of today (10th November 2006).”
They don’t state the reason for this move.
DGM Affiliates of course will honour any commission for sales/donations generated via the campaign’s 30 day cookie, meaning commissions will still be valid until 10 December 2006.
Charities using the online affiliate marketing model have in the past moved from one network to another, presumably to test them out, and some charities have run short campaigns with some of the networks, but this is the first time I’ve seen an affiliate network reporting that they are the ones to have broken off the partnership.
