Whitewater to develop DR fundraising for London Zoo

Howard Lake | 26 October 2006 | News

Charity direct marketing specialist Whitewater has been appointed by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) – London Zoo and Whipsnade in Bedfordshire – to support the development and implementation of its individual donor fundraising strategies.

Whitewater will design and implement the ZSL’s first supporter appeal: to raise £500,000 for Gorilla Kingdom, a new exhibition which “will transform the centre of London Zoo” and offer a unique view of gorillas and other forest animals with a section to demonstrate ZSL’s associated conservation work. This is due to open at Easter 2007.

The agency will also be looking to develop and put in place a legacy marketing strategy for both London Zoo and Whipsnade.
