Edinburgh's charity shops now a tourist attraction

Edinburgh’s charity shops are now attracting an international audience, according to The Scotsman. The newspaper reports that “groups of foreign visitors have started following a trail around the city’s secondhand shops using maps showing the location of 97 of them.” Shops report visitors from as far away as China and Japan, snapping up bargains.
The map was first published in 2005 to promote charity shops to the city’s residents, but after it was published online it started generating interest internationally.
There is even a possibility of a guided walk of Edinburgh’s charity shops.
A spokeswoman for Visit Scotland told The Scotsman: “Focusing attention on charity shops is an innovative way to attract shoppers.”
So, are your charity shops listed in the relevant tourist guides?
