A leading figure in fundraising in Northern Ireland has died after succumbing to cancer. Bryan Walliker worked for Diabetes UK for ten years and was a founding member of the Institute of Fundraising in Northern Ireland.

Bryan’s many friends in the fundraising world have been paying homage to his contribution to fundraising and his personal support.

‘Every fundraiser North and South owes Bryan a debt of gratitude. He brought respect and professionalism to fundraising and many people are proud to say that they attended at least one of his training courses,’ Paul Kane, Regional Fundraiser for Trocaire, said.
