Bank postpones grant giving
Northern Bank in Northern Ireland has postponed its Community Grants programme until the Autumn. The grants programme had a deadline of 29th September but has been put back.
The grants will be made annually and will be allocated based on the Northern’s bank regions — Belfast, East, North and South and West. Each region will be given £25,000 in 2006 with awards between £500 and £5,000.
A steering group in each Northern Bank region will assess applications and applications need to be submitted through branches and signed by the bank manager. Application forms will be available from bank branches and on line.
